Man: What is fate?
God: Fate is in man.
Man: But what is it?
God: Fate is the path that things follow when left up to Fate.
Man: But... if I'm playing basketball, and I throw at the hoop
without even looking, and it makes it, is that Fate?
God: That's leaving things up to Fate.
Man: So Fate is chance?
God: Fate is the part of your mind you created to make life more
interesting, to add a little challenge. Whenever you make a random
choice, any arbitrary action calls on Fate to decide the result.
Man: I created Fate? Didn't you create Fate?
God: I think that's someone elses discussion.
Man: You know, I remember now why I'm an atheist.
