We had strife,
Fighting and violence among the people,
And for our imagined safety?
We've been further denied humanity,
And still we walk unsafe,
While the corrupt run free,
Innocents are lost,
A sacrifice,
An Acceptable Cost for a Minor Gain,
The pure fall,
The soiled rule,
Her life is ended,
Her rights denied,
An Acceptable cost,
In an imaginary war,
That isn't even being fought.
